We have had motor homes for about 16 years now and love the freedom it allows us, my husband is dissabled and the fact we have a bathroom always available is a godsend, we also follow a motor sport and wild camp on the tracks and outer fields, we travel as and when we feel like it, we usually do a couple of weeks in Europe which is so relaxing, this is the life we love .
Bought our first motorhome six years ago when we retired. Can honestly say it is the best thing we ever did. We are now on our third and feel we have now got the best layout. The freedom to go either to the country or coast even if only for three nights is amazing. Even cooking and washing up doesn’t feel like a chore when away. Being keen bird watchers our motorhome makes an ideal bird hide. Cannt wait to get away for a fortnight on Saturday.
Kids get freedom to go off and play, something they can’t really do at home. Plus, it is a cheap way of getting away more often…
We changed from a caravan to a motorhome because my husband was becoming more disabled as his health deteriorated. It meant he could still ‘get away’ and have a change of scenery but stay in bed, if necessary, whilst I drove. Since his death, I have continued motorhoming and feel perfectly safe with the dogs for company.
Bought our first caravan seven years ago after many years of contemplating. Best thing we have ever done the freedom to go wherever and whenever we want.
The best part is spending quality time with the kids without the house chores distractions and guilt that follows. Minimal housework in a caravan, love it!

We love it go where you like and when you like at a minutes notice,and enjoy the fresh country air not wait three months for a flight.
We love our new motorhome. After over 30 years caravanning it is so much easier to just jump in it an go off for a few nights. And it’s great for days our and touring having all facilities with you with no hassle with hitching up. Also it’s so much easier to park while en-route.
I like my river fishing for Barbel just pull up at the side of the river with a cuppa and a sarny cast out job done easy.
The best part is getting away from everything into the country all that fresh air
We purchased our motorhome as we have always been ardent campers, but became tired of the 2+ hours needed to set up with our tentage. With our motorhome, we turn up, put the brake on, and put the kettle on – job done!
