Motorhome insurance FAQs

Will my insurance still be valid if I can’t take my motorhome for its MOT due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic?

If you’re unable to take your motorhome for its MOT as a result of Coronavirus (COVID-19), your insurance policy will not be invalidated.

From March 30th 2020, all cars, vans and motorcycles which would usually need an MOT test will be exempted from needing a test for six months. Vehicles must be kept in a roadworthy condition, and garages will remain open for essential repair work only.

Please note: The UK Government has urged people to stay at home and avoid travel. The only reasons people should leave their homes are set out in the government guidance.
