There are many things you can do to breathe new life into your tourer, from new cushions and upholstery, to new flooring, lighting and even accessories.

Ours isn’t that old, but it is only 3.6 metres long, 2 berth, with an end kitchen. If we wanted to replace it with something the same size, with the same facilities, i.e. decent kitchen, usable shower & loo, beds you don’t have to climb over each other in the middle of the night to get to the loo, they simply are not made currently. So although not brilliantly well made, we cannot find anything better quality with the same size and functionality. We simply don’t want to tow around wasted space.
have a 2001 ranger have replaced all the seating with new replaced all the sky lights in living are /kitchen/ and toilet fitted a new acsses door to side removed old carpet replaced with stick down flooring and new removable carpet
all the decalls replaced and changed all the lighting to modern led lights
looks like a new van

Would probably only change the cushions and curtains but not yet as they and everything else is still in good order.
After 10 years of hard use my Bailey Senator Indiana Series 6 is a bit knocked about and now requires some TLC. Also water heater does not work on gas as I always use serviced pitches this is not a problem, but would repair if considering selling
My poor Caravan is in dire need of a face lift
I would replace the blinds, curtains and upholstery. It is dated and the cushions are becoming uncomfortable
I would consider curtains, carpet, but nothing major.
In the past have changed carpets and recovered seats etcetera, made new curtains but nothing structural or electrical.
Although it’s now eleven years old everything is still in excellent condition. One thing I would change is to replace the sink and four burner hob with an integrated sink/hob with just one or two burners, creating space for a microwave. but it seems too complicated especially with gas being involved.

How much money is wise to spend on an old caravan! If it’s a labour of love or a hobby then ok but we have a saying in Yorkshire. ! Don’t throw good at bad! You could be spending money on more than it’s going to be worth. Also you will need you’re ammend your insurance
Thanks for your comments Dale. You would only need to amend your insurance if the items your have replaced affect the sums insured. You would also need to make your insurer aware of any major modifications.
such things as furnishings,carpets,yes but nothing technical or structural.i dont have the necessary skills.
