Imagine an off-road motorhome with a loft, sun deck and integrated stairway?
Hymer says they’ve “reimagined motorhoming from the ground up” as they launched the Hymer Venture S motorhome to the market.
It certainly has an unmistakable look and check out the glass “infinity screen” which surrounds all three sides at the back of the motorhome to soak up any views and let the daylight flood in!
Packed with innovations and a unique living space concept could the Venture S be a modern motorhoming icon?
The well-equipped off-roader motorhome for two promises freedom without compromise. It has a compact length of 6.46m and a narrow 2.16m body. And heads will certainly turn with the eye-catching “sone grey” or sea blue metallic” exterior colour scheme, complete with honeycomb design graphics.
All roads are open to the Venture S motorhome thanks to the powerful chassis cowl from the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as well as standard all-wheel drive and studded tyres.
Inside the Hymer Venture S
Hymer also says it has revolutionised the living experience in this modern motorhome thanks to its brand-new layout concept.
The rear lounge seating not only has that glass Infinity Screen the felt-look wall covering adds to the ambience.
In fine weather, the open tailgate of the Venture S expands the living space, opening up a private yacht-style sun deck for an uninterrupted view of the countryside or a front-row seat by a lake.
When it’s time to retire to bed, a powerful compressor inflates the pop-top roof in less than three minutes and its innovate two chamber system offers protection from noise, light and temperature changes.
Simply climb the staircase in the Venture S to ascent to your “upper floor” – which can be illuninated when dark.
What’s more, the compartments integrated into the steps provide extra storage space.
The firmness of the mattress can even be individually adjusted via the Hymer Connect app and clever storage and charging options for smartphones, e-books, etc. add the finishing touch to your dedicated “relaxation level”.
The Venture S features two sanitary rooms in one. In a single movement, the bathroom – including the optional ceramic toilet, washbasin, mirror and built-in cupboards – can be transformed into an even larger washroom with a floor-level shower.
With a look and feel resembling real slate, the new “Slate Light Rocks” furniture finish has a feeling of real natural stone. It’s also robust and easy to clean. A 120-litre fresh water tank lets you enjoy long showers or travel even further “off-grid”.
For those wanting to be able to work on the move, the Venture S includes a unique home office concept. A desk, integrated into the side wall behind the passenger’s seat, can be set up as an individual workstation under the flexible skylight. And three 155-watt solar panels on the roof will make sure the six 230V sockets and eight USB ports are kept powered up.
In combination with the Hymer Smart Battery System 2.0 and 320 Ah lithium batteries, as well as the standard inverter, you’ll be able to enjoy up to 10 days of self-sufficiency without running out of juice.
Plus, you’ll be able to enjoy your favourite tunes – and movies – wherever you are, with the mobile Sonos Smart Speaker that can be flexibly attached to the wall panels and a projector, screen and wall mount.
Pendant and reading lights can also be fitted in various places throughout the motorhome, so you can create the right lighting mood wherever you choose to relax.
And now for the price tag…the basic price is €225,000!
