I weigh mine after every trip

  2. Frank chappell says:

I have safefill bottle so can visually check gas level

  3. Ian Carey says:

I use two ‘standard’ 6Kg propane bottles with an auto change over valve. The valve has an indicator showing level in selected bottle. Whilst this may not be super accurate it is a good indicator when combined with experience.

  4. PaulClarke says:

I’ve still got two Calor Light bottles with inbuilt indicators.

  5. George Wade says:

Always carry a full spare bottle. If one goes empty swap over and replace the empty bottle asap.

  6. John toder says:

I carry a spare full bottle for changeover

  7. Richard Hoare says:

I use Calorlite bottles with a gas level indicator that is completely useless as it always registers empty when there is at least 20% of the gas remaining ( Well done Calor ). The only safe way to judge the amount of gas remaining is to weigh the cylinder taking note of the Tier Weight on the cylinder.

  8. RONAD CLUBB says:

as yet still using a lightweight bottle with indicator fitted (why where they taken of the market)?
