  1. Mike Elliott says:

Spent 7 years before retiring looking at all Motorhomes after meeting old couple with a Romahome at Back of Keppock who told us of their adventures.Soon sorted size then layout which worked best for us then raised our budget too many times till we were made a silly offer on an Avondale van by a salesman who said we had to decide if we were watchers or buyers. That day I was a watcher with cold feet. Then I saw our van, made an offer which was turned down but 6 months later saw same Motorhome repeated offer which was accepted and our adventure began. We have had our Autosleeper Pollensa 9 years now and she leads us to a wonderful world each time we turn the key.

  2. Got A Frankia first 8 years ago and how can I better it ? I can’t. Superb design ,quality and customer service.

I think you can’t beat a Hymer. Comfortable, and does what you need it to.

  4. Eddie Vincent says:

Mine was a 1960 VW Devon conversion even had a clay lined fridge family of five so had to have an awning on side. 1200cc but had great fun.

  5. Steve says:

  6. Caroline says:

Our first motorhome was an LMC Liberty – a super motorhome about 7.7m long with an island bed – which we bought in Germany.

  7. Barry Carter says:

My/our first venture into motorhoming was a 2005 Elddis (Suntor) Autoquest 400 bought new. As motorhome prices go it was cheap but well built and had 4 berths. We went all over the UK and had a lot of fun with it. After 2 years we part exchanged it to move up to a Swift Bessacarr E600 and got back virtually what we paid for it. Our reason for selling was to get 2 passenger belted seats and due to a change in the Law effecting the grand children traveling with us and which the Elddis did not then have, otherwise we probably would still be using it it now. It was a great motorhome.

  8. Kilda Tasha says:

Mine a 1983 Transporter conversion by Bilbos. A truly wonderful van and was my only home for just over 7 years.

  9. Ron Wintersgill says:

The list of options is not comprehensive. My first camper was a VW T25 based Autohomes Komet
