2 Compact cadac cooker as it can be used as a bbq and a variety of dishes makes a great one pot meal or curry.
3 levelling ramps are a must on a number of sites.
4 Good idea with the tennis ball will use that one

The other half. Again not essential but nice to have the company!!!

A Ring 12 volt tyre inflator. It is quite small but really robust and will inflate to over 80 psi. Comes in its own case with extendable pipe and adaptors. Lives in the moho.

Good article. With so many pieces of kit needing batteries, we find a universal type battery charger essential, along with a few rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. Can be used with a power inverter when on the move or directly when hooked up. Also ties in with phone and other chargers.

  8. Mary says:

    1) collapsible washing up bowl? Not essential you have a sink with hot and cold running water
    2) Camping gas ring? Not essential, you have a gas cooker
    3) portable water pump? I have a collapsible watering can less cost and less space/weight
Levelling ramps and grip mats are a must for me too.
I carry a decent tool box, and much of what Ian says above.
I have portable solar panel for when off grid.

  9. Ian Styles says:

A set of screwdrivers, spanner’s, Allen keys, small pointed nose and normal pliers, wire cutters and strippers, 6M of wire capable of taking 10A, spare fuses to suit the vehicle, selection of crimp connectors and crimping tool, a length of terminal block, selection of self tapping screws and a tin to keep it all in.
