Very useful eye opener for motor home drivers, I have a few beware of risks from my own experience. Towing trailers. I had to reverse in the dark on unlit country road due to poor signage, and could not see the trailer at all, and jack knifed and damaged the rear N/side corner of the van. Another problem was caused by excess camber causing “kerbside lean” and catching overhanging trees especially in Spain where the normal severe yearly trim back tended to create short very hard branches which can dent or rip open side / or roof panels on parking or drive offs.

It comes as no surprise to see “reversing incidents” as a regular claim. Most motorhome drivers have a passenger who can act as banksman (or bankswoman). This simple precaution would prevent almost all reversing claims.
