We tried a air awning before buying our coach built motorhome but found it was very heavy to wind the 3metre Fiamma awning back in once we had the added it through the channel. We only wound it out a short way,so a larger awning would also have more weight. We tried to get a new poled version but none are available We searched on line and bought a 2nd hand Kampa one similar to Outwell Ripple. It fits perfectly, is much lighter and easy to put up(20 mins 1st time). Also stable in winds. Why don’t manufacturers give us all the option to buy poled versions.Speaking to other motorhome owners they wish the same.

I like the smaller van ones, I might be saving up to get one.
