Sadly the cost of fuel is only adding pain to the unacceptable price hikes of both of the ‘big’ clubs and other site owners including CL’s etc who are fleecing us. One site(club members only) with the barest of facilities was charging uowards of £25 a night??
Bought a motorhome to enable late notice holidays close to the coast. This year sites are mostly booked up well in advance, especially club sites. As this was one of the reasons of joining, this is a disappointment.

We’ve already had several motorhome holidays this year and camped at two music festivals, there are two more week long motorhome holidays booked and several club rallies.
If you’ve got a motorhome it’s costing you money to be parked on your drive so why not be out in it ?, we have the advantage of being retired now but even during our working life’s we were out at every opportunity.
