A starter model in the eight-strong Adamo line-up from Bailey, the 60-2 is the only two-berth in the range, but it shares the same Ford Transit underpinnings as its sisters – and that means there’s a potent 165bhp engine under the bonnet and eight-speed automatic transmission.
The cab’s grey finish is offset by black alloy wheels, while the interior highlight is a 12in touchscreen unit that has DAB radio, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth and USB connectivity plus a reversing camera. There’s also the FordPass Connect app that allows all kinds of security, such as being able to lock/unlock doors remotely, locate your vehicle and guide you back to where it’s parked, keep a check on its overall health (oil levels, service status etc) and more.
In this video, we take a detailed look at the 2025 Bailey Adamo 60-2 motorhome:
At 2.40m, the Bailey Adamo 60-2 is a fairly wide motorhome. But it’s overall length just nudges over the 6m mark meaning it qualifies for compact status. And you certainly don’t miss out on living space. That’s thanks to a formula that includes a drop-down double bed and a full-width end washroom.
That bed is 1.84m x 1.56m at its widest. It operates electrically, gliding down to different set positions depending on whether you want the easiest of access or to still use the lounge seating when your partner prefers to sleep there!
During the day, the lounge has two inward-facing settees as well as the usual facility to swivel the cab seats, with a free-standing table.
Large side windows, along with the opening sunroof over the cab and window in the habitation door (where you also get a waste bin and an umbrella holder, plus a full flyscreen) help to let plenty of daylight and ventilation into the Adamo 60-2 motorhome.
There’s a step up into the cab area, but it helps keep the cab seats at the same level as the settee squabs.
Mid-‘van offside, the kitchen includes Bailey’s trademark worktop to the hob, which means you have a large area of work surface (for example when you’re washing up). The cooker is a Thetford model with a dual-fuel hob and separate oven and grill.
The circular sink in stainless steel is a decent size and its mixer tap has a flexi-head fitting. There’s also a splash panel, flip-up worktop extension and a couple of mains sockets.
Storage is at a premium, however, and you’ll lose an overhead locker if you go for the microwave oven option.
You’re unlikely to encounter problems stowing your chilled produce though. Directly across the corridor is a slimline, 150-litre compressor fridge with freezer from Thetford.
Beyond the kitchen zone, there’s a solid door and a small step up into the washroom. Its location across the back of the Bailey Adamo 60-2 motorhome means there’s space for a separate, plastic-lined shower cubicle complete with folding doors. The showerhead is on a riser bar and there are diagonally opposed drainage holes underfoot.
Also in here are a swivel-bowl toilet (it’s set on a plinth) and a countertop handbasin, plus a window and a drop-down rail for clothes/towel hanging.
All your clothes will certainly be stored in the washroom. The wardrobe is beyond the toilet, and there’s another large locker with shelving, next to it. A couple of hooks on the door, and another one over the toilet all help too.
Throughout the Bailey Adamo 60-2 motorhome, a generous specification extends to a 200Watt solar panel, 105Ah AGM leisure battery, Truma Combi 6E hot water and blown air heating system, Status TV aerial, TV holder, pre-wiring for mobile wi-fi, and concertina blinds and flyscreens to all windows aft of the cab, with blinds for the cab itself.
Bodywork is Bailey’s renowned Alu-Tech, featuring GRP sides, roof and under skin. The interior walls are also in GRP, with polystyrene insulation, aluminium extrusion and plastic internal framework, backed by a six-year warranty that’s extendable.
You also get fixing points for a bike rack on the back wall, a hatch to the underseat storage areas on both sides and a rear offside locker.
Do note, also, all this is packed into overall dimensions that mean this is a small motorhome by modern-day standards, making it all the more pleasant to drive, park and store!
