Here’s an upmarket van conversion with a sting in its tail – almost literally.

Auto-Trail’s V-Line Sports are Fiat Ducato-based van conversions that come with a solid rear panel that includes a large boot storage area with a full-width, top-hinged hatch, rather than the usual twin full-height rear doors you get with such vehicles.

Another key point of difference is that the rear lounge has U-shaped seating, along with a full-width, opening back window and a reading light with USB portals in each corner.

The 610 here is the 6m long model in the range – sister models 635 and 636 use the 6.36m long Ducato – all of which start with the 140bhp engine and manual transmission as standard and auto’ as well as 180bhp power on the options list.
All are also available in a choice of five exterior paint finishes – from white to black via a series of greys, at no extra cost. Like all latest Auto-Trails, it’s backed by five-year conversion and body integrity warranties.

In this video, we take a tour of the 2026 Auto-Trail V-Line 610 Sport campervan:
The 610 Sport is a straight two-berth campervan where that rear on-site seating can be converted to a 1.86m x 1.84m double bed, or twin 1.84m x 0.65m singles.

In daytime mode there are windows to three sides – all with concertina blinds and flyscreens – so you can still enjoy great views out, plus there’s a large opening rooflight.

There’s also an Avtex flatscreen TV which both of you will be able to watch easily whilst sprawled on the settees. Those side and rear windows are flush-fitting.
For dining, there’s a pedestal leg table – the top slots away behind the driver’s seat for safe travel.

As is typical for this style of van conversion, the kitchen stretches across the sliding door entrance – there’s a full flyscreen to the doorway, too, to keep bugs at bay – and the main worktop space is a flip-up extension.

Thetford’s space-efficient Triplex provides the main cooking facilities via its three gas rings and combined oven and grill, but a Russell Hobbs 800Watt microwave oven is also supplied.

The kitchen sink is in stainless steel. There’s also a cutlery drawer here with other storage including upper- and lower-level lockers.

Completing the kitchen is an 84-litre Thetford compressor fridge with small freezer box. This is set high (making access all the easier), while below is a wardrobe (where you’ll also find the leg for the table).
Over on the offside of the Auto-Trail V-Line 610 Sport campervan, the washroom has a curtain to pull around when you’re using the trigger-operated shower.

Under a double mirror-doored locker is a flip-down handbasin, with open shelving below – next to the swivel-bowl toilet.

Among the details, there’s a hook as well as a towel holder on the back of the solid door, a small ceiling vent and three downlighters.

Standard equipment also includes a Pioneer infotainment system with 9in touchscreen and reversing camera, helping to avoid those knocks and scrapes and attracting a campervan insurance discount with Caravan Guard and for £100 a year you can activate the Thatcham S7 tracking unit built into the campervan via My Auto-Trail. This will also help to reduce your campervan insurance premium.

There’s also a 25-litre gas tank, external-use gas and mains sockets, Whale heating and hot water systems, overcab sunroof, cab blinds, 200Watt solar panel and removable carpets – giving some idea of the more premium nature of this campervan.
And there’s even space in the boot for a tripod for using the table outdoors, plus levelling blocks.
