Coachman heads into the 2026 season with upgrades all-round to its already highly desirable flagship Lusso caravan range. Each of the three models in the latest line-up comes on a new Al-Ko chassis with detail upgrades including a new step-on hitch cover. The exterior-access locker for the battery also includes the mains inlet and satellite TV connections.
In this video we take a look around the all-new 2026 Coachman Lusso II caravan:
The distinctive Lusso look is retained, with new graphics, but still the main door is the only aperture with a fully flush-fitting window. You also get the on-road assurance of a twin axle along with the on-site space benefits of the 2.44m extra wide body.
Inside the 2026 Coachman Lusso II, the floorplan remains the same, starting with an L-shaped lounge and a movable “footstool” that can also double as a seat – so a full complement of four can sit around the table for meals etc.
Unlike some other caravans with L-shaped front lounges, Coachman opts to keep windows on each side, with a wide enough ledge along the nearside to perch a TV, as well as a full-width front bulkhead where you’ll find a wireless phone charger.
Along with the more traditional three-windowed front and almost full-width sunroof, there’s plenty of light getting into the lounge area and beyond.
It’s that bit more comfortable than before, too, thanks to the enhanced foam Coachman uses in its seats, as well as increasing the height of the backrests.
Mid-‘van and back, the new Coachman Lusso II gets the highly popular transverse island bed and full-width end washroom treatment.
Also mid-‘van is the kitchen, with the main cooking and preparation area on the offside and a 159-litre Thetford fridge/freezer and floor-to-ceiling storage nearside.
As previously, the full cooker includes a cast-iron pan rest and extractor fan. A minor grumble is the microwave oven, a flatbed model, sitting directly above the dual-fuel hob.
The main kitchen unit has a more curved finish to its L-shape and gets a mixer tap with flexi-head, new splash panel and acrylic glass locker doors – all now in black.
There are also black wire baskets in the lower level locker. And a generous sized worktop extension helps overcome the initial feeling that it’s kitchen space where the Lusso II has been compromised.
The change to a black finish for the detailing theme continues in the washroom, where the ladder radiator, basin’s mixer tap, showerhead and riser bar get the new treatment alongside the more traditional look of the usual swivel-bowl toilet, handbasin and shower cubicle arrangement.
There’s also plenty of dressing space and storage here.
At night, it’s easy enough to make a 1.98m x 1.37m double from the lounge seating for berths three and four.
Between the kitchen and the washroom, that 1.88m x 1.37m island bed mattress has a deeper foam mattress to promise more comfort than ever.
Latest touch lighting include a halo-effect feature in the bed’s headboard as well as both front pillars.
Indeed, the whole interior of the new Coachman Lusso II caravan just looks that bit classier than before – with its new furniture and upholstery finishes, along with equipment upgrades such as the new Truma Compact air conditioner (it increases overall height by some 10cm over previous models), Bluetooth speaker system and 5G-ready Wi-Fi.
These are added to what was already a highly impressive specification, with everything from E&P self-levelling system to Alde central heating,120Watt solar panel, a safe, and much more.
Maybe we should expect all this in a caravan costing upwards of £50,000. But the next generation Coachman Lusso II continues to impress nevertheless, in a tourer that shouts luxury!
