  1. Dog lover says:

Great to see no dogs !! All dog owners think everyone loves dogs and their dog won’t hurt anyone and is well behaved!! Been to many dog friendly sites that allow dogs on a lead but this never happens as owners think my dog is friendly!! And seen so many dogs wondering on their own !! Great idea especially when you have children!! Think more sites should do it !!

  2. Mal Criddle says:

Visited in Sept. Very well run site. Great to see no dogs policy…will certainly visit again.

  3. Gwen Weaving says:

Our caravan is here all season we spend many weekends here and enjoy the peace of the camp site. Lovely surrondings and excellent facilities.

  4. vikki hewitt says:

Love this campsite. Spend many weekends each year here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Love it

  5. Maureen Purdom says:

If you have no dogs caravan sites you will lose lots of campers we love to take our dogs and are responible dog owners can’t see why no dogs allowed
On sites we have adult only parks,we don’t mind children on parks even though they run riot and are not controlled like our dogs are parents just let them lose to do what they like

  6. Nicola Pinnell says:

Use to come here as a child and will revisit on day for a trip down memory lane. My Grandparents lived on Lookout caravan park in the 80’s. Happy days!

  7. Nick Mitchell says:

Glad to hear site owners are running the site the way they feel is best. We have adult only sites & they seem to do well so why not have dog free campsites especially on family orientated sites.

  8. Anne Martin says:

Delighted to hear about a caravan site with “no dogs” rule, as our grand-daughter is terrified of dogs (no accountable reason) so it will go to the top of our list!

  9. Ian Kelman says:

I insure with Caravan Guard and live in Dorset. I normally take my caravan to France using either ACSI or Camping Cheques. I thought that I might try the UK again to see if it had improved since the last time I used it. This site seemed ideal but NO DOGS. I expect it will be another few years before I try the UK again. Such a pity. I can understand why people from the continent are reluctant to come to the UK with the caravanning options available. Roll on next year when I return to a camping friendly country.
I am willing to answer questions.
