2. Bath: Designated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Heritage Site, Bath offers some of the finest architectural sights in Europe. At the heart of the city next to Bath Abbey is the Roman Baths, which gives a fascinating insight into the bathing complex and great Roman temple of Sulis Minerva. It also boasts museums and galleries as well as theatre and vibrant street entertainment. It’s also a celebrated shopping area.

3. Liverpool: This year’s European Capital of Culture has more theatres, museums, galleries and listed buildings than any other UK city, outside of London. Its history as one of the world’s great ports has left a remarkable legacy of art and architecture that gives it a distinctive look and unique atmosphere. The city is also home to Tate Liverpool, an art gallery housed in a converted warehouse in the historic Albert Dock. It is the home of the National Collection of Modern Art in the North.

4. Stratford-upon-Avon: There are so many things to do and see in the area. Take a boat out on the River Avon, explore the area by a “hop on, hop off” bus or simply enjoy a stroll around its many historic houses and gardens. Stratford-upon-Avon also offers a varied shopping experience with its many gift shops, cheesemongers, jewellers, antiques, boutiques and bookshops. There are also regular farmers’ markets to help you stock up your motorhome fridge and craft events during the summer.
