Great but they do eat into your loading margin and vans these days seem so selfish in their generosity.

  2. david NORRIS says:

my motor mover failed late last year so we had to push and shove it,my wife now refuses to go caravanning until we have anew one fitted, but its deciding which one. I could not agree more that a mover is amust.

  3. John Rock says:

One very important tip I would like to share. When not using the caravan for lengthy periods ie. over winter months, give your movers an occasional spin (unattached to the wheels) to prevent the rollers from sticking. I didn’t and had to remove the one mover and get it serviced.

  4. Steven Whittaker says:

Your note about keeping the handset safe is useful, as you say they are easy to lose. You could have also mentioned that keeping the isolation switch key safe is vitally important too. Recently I lost my switch key for my Powertouch mover whilst on a site. On the morning of departure I was baffled to find I could not turn on the power to the mover. Luckily a fellow caravaner lent me his. I now have a spare isolation switch key kept in a safe place!

Just come back to Caravaning after 9 years of Motorhomes I found this article very interesting as our motor mover was fitted in our package

  6. Fiona Keates says:

It doesn’t look like the quattro is available yet, as the website says register your interest…

Bit of a misleading article if this is the case.

    • Liz @ Caravan Guard says:

Hi Fiona, the Quattro will be available from May but was showcased at the NEC Show. We’ve updated the article to make this clear. Thanks for pointing that out.
