It may be helpful to other readers if you could arrange for your recommendations to be available to print, either as an article or as a form of checklist.

Despite the dealer saying there was nothing wrong we suffered from flat battery problems for 18 months after buying our motorhome, and missed our ferry in February because of the problem. AA Battery Assist were brilliant. They fitted a new bigger battery and sold us a solar panel (£25) which fits into the diagnostics socket and charges while the van is stored. Keeps it at 14v and no more worries about it starting… and no more sleepless nights!

My recently purchased motorhome is in need of an upholstery clean, I know I cant recover faded cushions but would welcome any sugestions on how to deep clean the cushions?

A newcomer to Motorhoming, I have a Fiat Swift Escape686. The plate inside the cab doors shows one tyre pressure and on the tyre itself, it states a different pressure. Can anyone tell me what pressure I should have my tyres.

Whilst I accept that not everyone has access to charging batteries, I ensure that monthly, or at least bi-monthly, the vehicle battery especially is recharged to ensure that the standing/floating voltage remains at or above 12.6 volts. Whilst leisure batteries tolerate complete discharge, I still treat them in the same way as the vehicle one – bi-monthly recharge. I never have problems in spring and any alarm remains active.

I have been for many years a vanner, and have pulled al over the continent, but have moved on and now own a ACE Adventurer motor home.
My beloved and myself are thinking of a long tour across Europe to catch up with old friends and possibly find new ones.
We are pondering on whether to drag a trailer with a small motor, but I have had a thought! What do you do with trailer when you are on site?

Looking for some insite from better minds.

    • Craig says:

      Hi Mr Davies
You should check our review of the Adria Matrix 650SF as this has 6 berths, 5 travel seats and has a max weight of 3.5 tonnes. We also have had a scout around and discovered a few models that might be worth checking out. These are the Elddis Autoquest 180, Laika X700, Laika Ecovip 6, Laika Ecovip 1 Classic, Roller Team Auto-Roller 707, various models in the Chausson Flash range and various models in the CI Carioca range.
Hope this is of use to you.
      Thanks
      Craig
