2026 Bürstner Signature SFT 7.5 motorhome

If you’re looking at the pictures and thinking wow, what a fabulous motorhome for just £80,000, please note the vehicle shown here sports some £32,600 of factory-fitted options.

Admittedly, it was specc’d up deliberately for its NEC show UK debut but the Signature name is apt – here’s a motorhome waiting for you to put your own stamp on it, including a huge choice of soft furnishings. Your starting point is any of the four models in the Signature line-up.

It certainly looks stylish from the outside, from the large overcab skylight to the moulded steps at the cab doors right through to its curved back panel, also flush-fitting side windows on each side. There’s a generous garage, too.

The Bürstner Signature SFT 7.5 motorhome’s base vehicle is Fiat’s Ducato with a 2.2-litre diesel engine and automatic transmission as standard.

And the SFT 7.5’s floorplan will be familiar to many. It features an island double bed at the back, kitchen and washroom in the middle, and a typical forward lounge including a choice of settee arrangements, as well as the usual twin swivelling cab seats.

Thereafter, it packs on the style as well as boasting countless interesting ideas. Many of these are shown and written about here and do indeed come from the options list where, as ever, the better value starts with the many Packs on offer.

The good ideas start with the kitchen on the offside (note the layout and habitation door aren’t switched for the UK). Here, thanks to the £2,200 Premium Kitchen Pack, there’s a large section that extends across the corridor to more than double the amount of worktop available to the chef.

That same package also gives you a clever open shelving system, suitable for bottles and plenty more, that glides up and down electrically, effectively locking everything away for safe travel.

And there’s a smart worktop extension across the doorway that incorporates the loose wooden cover/chopping board for the sink which, in turn, can be inset into the marble-style work surface. You’ll need to find a secure place to stow it for safe travel, however.

Finally, a lower drawer slides out to reveal a compressor chiller with freezer compartment that also features a section for standing bottles upright. Total capacity here is 138 litres.

You only get two gas rings as standard, however, under which the full-width drawer is huge – at least half of it taken up with insets for cutlery.

At the back of the Bürstner Signature SFT 7.5, the island bed measures a generous 1.95m x 1.4m and is set notably high to optimise garage space below.

It’s wider than most because of a rather clever decision to forego the usual wardrobes on each side of the bed. You just get the one, but it does mean a notably wider mattress area, although by the same token there are only high-level lockers to one side and across the back.

Over the lounge, there’s a drop-down double bed that’s so neatly integrated you don’t immediately notice it’s there. It measures 2.1m x 1.14m, tapering to 0.84m.

The lounge itself has two inward-facing settees as standard that also provide safe accommodation for two rear passengers. When it comes to dining, there’s a table that slides across into position on rails and also has a hinged top.

The washroom comes with Bürstner’s now-patented sliding wall – moving over easily enough to close off the basin and toilet so that the whole area can be used as a shower cubicle.

As you’ve no doubt realised, there’s a real sense of style throughout the Bürstner Signature SFT 7.5 motorhome. But the practicalities certainly haven’t been forgotten, including what Bürstner calls “integrated acoustic fabric walls” – designed for improved sound and spatial feeling.

Fittings like the 200-litre freshwater tank and 150Ah lithium leisure battery are standard. As is Truma Combi 6 heating and hot water, although its operation is gas-only as standard.

The next step? The configurator on Bürstner’s website should provide plenty of fun time as you select the options you want for the Signature that’s right for you – at the same time relieving you of plenty of your money!
