The big summer getaway is still in full swing and UK campsites and holiday parks are buzzing with life.
With long airport and ferry queues, delays, and rising fuel costs, it was no surprise to see that many motorhomes will be enjoying a great British staycation this summer.
We asked owners where they would be going on their motorhome holidays this summer and 69 percent said they would be staying in the UK.
As well as a UK motorhome holiday, the second most popular motorhome destination was France with a fifth of the votes.
A longer drive down to Spain took third place, with just eight percent of the votes – tied with “other EU countries”.
Portugal came in at number five and a small two percent would be heading off to Italy.
