2026 Coachman Lusso IV caravan

Latest addition to the highly regarded, ever-evolving, wider-bodied Lusso caravan range from Coachman is this, the IV.

It also benefits from a fair few upgrades to all Lusso caravans for 2026 – more curved styling to the L-shaped kitchen unit, Truma’s latest Compact air conditioner on the roof and enhanced foam seat cushioning including higher backrests. Latest Lussos also have a Bluetooth speaker system and 4G Wi-Fi.

These add to what is already one of the most impressive specifications for any touring caravan. E&P’s self-levelling system, Alde central heating, 120Watt solar panel, even a safe area all here for starters. Needless to say, that makes for a rather hefty unit. If you want to more than double the payload allowance, go for the upgrade to a 2,200kg chassis, assuming your towing vehicle is happy.

The Lusso IV caravan certainly has a fashionable floorplan, starting at the front with L-shaped seating in the lounge.

This is supplemented by a footstool you can move around to suit your comfort needs.

As you’d expect from Coachman Caravans, there’s a luxury look and feel to the interior, thanks to fittings like superior quality upholstery.

The Coachman Lusso IV also boasts a massive kitchen mid-‘van, with the usual full cooker from Thetford, complete with cast-iron pan rest and fan-assisted oven, along with an extractor unit and a flatbed microwave oven – its location, directly over the hob, is always slightly contentious.

Next to it is a large, circular sink, inset into the worktop and with a matching loose cover, supplied by a flexible mixer tap in black. The Corian-style worktop is L-shaped for extra workspace – plus a flip-up extension.

Storage includes slide-out racking and a trio of soft-close drawers.

Opposite the kitchen unit is a 137-litre fridge/freezer, also from Thetford.

To the right of this are two lockers – the upper one with slide-out racking, the lower one also holding the free-standing lounge table.

There’s even a cocktail cabinet should you want one!

Moving back, the next stage of the Lusso IV caravan is the en-suite facilities to the bedroom.

On the offside, the toilet room has a swivel-bowl loo and part-inset handbasin, plus there’s a window and decent-sized mirror, while fittings like the toilet roll holder, tap, towel holder and even the Alde radiator are finished in black.

Across the corridor is the shower cubicle. It has a single door access and again key fittings are in black. Lighting here includes a single downlighter in the cubicle itself and a second unit just outside.

For ventilation there’s a rooflight in the corridor between the shower and the toilet room. And sliding doors mean you can make this a full-width washroom with dressing space.

At the back of the Coachman Lusso IV caravan, the transverse island bed is retractable and features rather swish touch light fittings with USBs either side.

There’s a padded headboard and ambient lighting over the lockers above.

An Avtex smart TV is supplied as standard for the bedroom area, and there’s a whole wall of storage opposite the foot of the bed, with twin wardrobes, two shelved double-doored lockers and a central section with two shallow lockers. Also, to each side of the bed is a ledge and locker arrangement at mattress level.

This really is a top tourer that lacks for nothing (unless, perhaps, you want a second TV in the lounge) that looks modern and comes with a real quality feel to it. Luxury, opulence, even excess – you can see where Lusso gets its name.
