Love is very much in the year. If you’re reading this on Valentine’s Day, what better way to celebrate great times with a loved one than away in a caravan?
Or, if you’re looking for a new caravan to enjoy with your nearest and dearest, have a closer look at the six tourers below we’ve picked out as being particularly suited to couples who want to…well, couple up.
The below are all two-berths. But don’t forget, even if you’re only ever planning to tour as a couple, any multi-berth caravan could also suit your desires.

Coachman Laser 480 Xtra – a lot of luxury in a classic floorplan
A welcome addition to the Laser line-up from Coachman as far as couples are concerned – because this is the only exclusively two-berth tourer in the upmarket range. Also, unlike its nearest rivals listed below/opposite, this is a maximum width tourer.

There’s no getting away from the current Coachman look – from the flush-fitting triple windows and sunroof along with twin lockers at the front, to the silver sides, to the moulded, all-ABS back panel.

Inside, as well as a traditional enough twin settees lounge at the front that convert to either 1.84m x 0.73m single beds or a 2.00m x 1.39m double, you also get a fully equipped, L-shaped kitchen along the offside and a full-size washroom with separate shower cubicle across the back.

Coachman isn’t afraid to ladle on the luxury, either. Standard fittings include an Alde central heating system, Bluetooth speaker system, Al-Ko ATC and Moving Intelligence Vanguard alarm, for a discount on your caravan insurance.
- Plus Extra wide, extra high specification and a crisp, modern look
- Minus A relative heavyweight

Swift Challenger 390 – updated for 2026
A classic, couple-friendly two-berth, front lounge/end kitchen formula for the baby of the Challenger range from Swift, the 390 is just 5.37m long and a particularly narrow 2.03m, with a maximum weight starting from 1,118kg.

That twin settee front lounge converts to 1.80m x 0.63m single beds or a 1.82m x 1.36m double, still leaving easy access to the kitchen and the rear corner washroom.
Typically Swift, it has modern looks inside and out, with latest features including updated internally sprung seat bases, flatbed microwave oven and Truma’s CombiNeo heating system with its promise of a continuous supply of hot water.

Like all the latest Challengers, the 390 comes with diamond-cut alloy wheels, 120Watt solar panel, wireless phone charger and more. It has the same GRP bodywork as its stablemates, backed by a ten-year integrity warranty.
Arguably, the Challenger 390 has no direct rivals – closest competitors below prefer to put the washroom across the back.
- Plus Smart design and well equipped, low weight and narrow body
- Minus Compact washroom, no front sunroof

Knaus Yaseo 340 PX – electric first for optimal independence
If you want to optimise your independence, take a closer look at this idiosyncratic design from Germany’s Knaus. This is the smaller of two Yaseo models, introduced to the UK in 2024 under the banner “the first caravan for e-mobility”. Designed for towing by electric cars in particular, where the use of V2L (Vehicle-2-Load) technology, power accumulated in the towing vehicle can be used for Yaseo’s appliances.

The 340 PX is the smaller and lighter of the two Yaseo caravans. It has a unique interior layout that features a double bed that hinges down across the lounge, whilst still allowing access to the kitchen and washroom, as well as equipment that extends to Dometic Freshwell air conditioning.

Knaus is certainly no stranger to futuristic designs. Its wedge-shaped Sport&Fun model, for instance, has been around since 1998 and looks just as stylish today

- Plus Futuristic design using quality materials, full off-grid capabilities
- Minus Pricy, too quirky for some

Xplore XC Duo – light at the end of the bargain basement
Fully updated for the 2025 season, the Xplore XC Duo continues as one of the bargains across the whole of the touring caravan market, whilst also retaining its new-found sense of adventure.
Externally, it keeps things smart and simple, with a single window front and windowless stable door.

Inside, it’s a standard twin settee front lounge, with the L-shaped kitchen and surprisingly large washroom sharing the back end.
There’s enough space in the washroom for a plastic-lined shower cubicle served by an Ecocamel Jetstorm showerhead, along with the usual swivel-bowl toilet and fixed handbasin with click-clack plug.

The kitchen includes a Thetford Triplex cooker with gas and electric hob as well as combined oven and grill, plus a microwave oven and 98-litre Dometic fridge.
That still leaves space to convert the lounge into a 2.01m x 1.55m double bed at night. A light wood finish to the furniture and grey upholstery with drawer handles and more in black help give an airy and spacious feel to the interior.

Previous options that are standard with the 2026 version include Al-Ko stabiliser, alloy wheels and a stereo system with MP3 connectivity. Also on the standard kits list are on-board Wi-Fi, tracker and Al-Ko Secure wheel lock.
- Plus Lots of upgrades for 2026, low weight
- Minus Occasional flimsy build

Adria Action Sports 391LH – timeless qualities aiming for even more adventure
Cheeky Adria often refers to its Action as a three-berth, despite offering just the one bed! New for the 2026 season, it has refreshed and extended its previous Action – keeping the distinctive, curvy looks and adding a Sports version, as here.

It’s hard to believe that body shape was first seen back in 2005. It’s in tough GRP, too, including a one-piece main door with window, with an Al-Ko semi-off road chassis. The skirting is in ABS. At 5.90m, it’s longer than previous Actions. The Sports variant has a pale grey exterior, with graphite grey bumper mouldings (or blue as an option). Other details like the roof rails and grab handles are in black.

The 391LH floorplan gives you a front lounge, end kitchen and rear corner washroom, the latter with a fixed handbasin and hinged screen to help create more space when you want to take a shower
A 133-litre fridge and Truma’s Combi 4E heating and hot water system are on the standard kit list, along with LED silhouette lighting, 15in black alloy wheels, Bluetooth soundbar and swivelling Lagun table. The latter fixes to the side of the settee and can be left in situ when you make up the bed, where you have a choice of widths between 1.20m and 2.00m.
We’re writing this report ahead of the UK launch for the Action Sports 391LH – so do watch out for updates on specifications and prices.
- Plus Funkier than before, and just as modern
- Minus Small washroom and kitchen areas

Barefoot Classic – living up to its name
Style and quality are rolled into one here in this highly distinctive micro caravan that oozes retro vibes. Unique is another descriptor that springs to mind.

It’s certainly a tiny tourer – at just over 5m from hitch to taillights and with only 3.8m of interior space to play with – but it sure knows how to pack plenty into its tough but stylish monocoque, GRP body.

There’s U-shaped seating at the front, kitchen on the offside and a washroom complete with swivel-bowl toilet, fixed corner basin and space to shower.

The seating pulls together for a 1.83m x 1.83m double bed – so you can sleep crossways or lengthways.
Classy touch points are everywhere – from the retro-look hub caps to the offer of a Roberts DAB radio (you can even choose your colour). Talking of which, there’s an extensive choice of exterior colours and soft furnishings schemes (or you can even suggest your own) for you to mix and match, to make it truly your own Barefoot caravan.

If you think the price is too much, there are cheaper stablemates. Then again, you’re buying yourself a special, egg-shaped piece of caravan history!
- Plus Timeless qualities, monocoque bodywork, lots of colour choices
- Minus Expensive starting price… with options to come
