NICK IS BOB ON the most popular caravan are 4 berth fixed bed side or centre they cater for a family of 4 or just 2 .

too long and too heavy. nearly 1and half ton. not every body has a big 4 x 4 to tow with!!

  3. Eileen Holt says:

I can only endorse the vans that Nick has chosen as some of the best sellers in 2013–they are lovely-but are all for multiple occupancy. It would have been more to the point if he had opted for a selection of vans of different sizes. What about the lone caravanner who wants a small van? I am an elderly widow and am looking to change my small Freedom van for something of a similar size. There seems very little choice!!

  4. Matthew March says:

Yes, but why are the fixed beds so narrow? We have a 2006 VIP with a 4foot 8 wide fixed bed which is just about big enough for us and have looked to change for the past three seasons. Without going overseas we cannot find a fixed bed that comes near that, and many of them are just over 6 feet long as well.

People are getting taller, and larger, and yet the industry seems quite oblivious to this and falls back on the end washroom means that something has to go argument.

I am sure that we are by no means alone in being frustrated by this!
