Welcome to Elddis’s flagship motorhome range for the 2026 season. The Avalon is a four-model line-up, with the 295 here the top of the two-berth motorhomes.

All four are based on Fiat’s Ducato chassis-cab with 140bhp engine and six-speed manual transmission as standard and power and auto upgrades also available.
In this video, we take a walkthrough of the all-new Elddis Avalon 295 motorhome:
Elddis has moved the Fiat cab up a few notches with its choice of Techno trim (including padded steering wheel) and automatic air conditioning. Also here is a Pioneer infotainment system with 9in touchscreen, which also includes a rear-view camera.

The 295 also represents a return to the kind of end lounge motorhome floorplan that all UK manufacturers used to offer.
As well as U-shaped seating with large, opening windows – complete with concertina blinds and flyscreens – to three sides, at night it turns into a choice of large double bed (2.07m x 1.90m/1.76m) or singles 1.76m and 1.90m long with the same 0.67m width.

Whatever your sleeping orientation, you’ll find a reading light nearby, although surprisingly they lack USB sockets. There are, however, two USB portals in the pop-up charger in the chest of drawers on the offside just forward of the lounge.

The black cab you can see here is from the options list.

But open the one-piece, windowed habitation door (it comes with a full flyscreen) and it’s certainly a light and airy interior that enhances that feeling of space.

There’s a slight step down from the cab to the main living quarters of the Elddis Avalon 295 motorhome.
The kitchen is mid-’van along the nearside and has a Thetford cooker with dual-fuel hob and separate grill and oven. There’s a black enamel circular sink to the immediate left of the hob and a flip-up worktop extension beyond that.

Storage includes a trio of soft-close drawers, a floor locker and a large, shelved cupboard. Safe storage for the free-standing dining table is here, too, beneath the permanent worktop to the right of the cooker.

Overhead are three lockers, the left side housing plate and mug racks.
A Russell Hobbs microwave oven is at a convenient height nearby, part of a unit that also offers more worktop and storage.
The fridge is across the corridor, but remains handy enough for both kitchen and lounge, especially thanks to it being dual-hinged. It’s a 10-series model from Dometic and comes with a removable freezer section should you wish it to be all-chiller.
And an Omnivent helps with ventilation as well as extracting unwanted cooking smells etc.
The Avalon 295’s washroom is large enough for a separate shower cubicle with Ecocamel Orbit shower head on a riser bar.

There’s a countertop handbasin with chrome mixer tap, Thetford swivel-bowl toilet and double lockers under and over the basin.

The opening window is a plus, but points are lost for only having a single plughole in the shower tray.
Storage elsewhere shouldn’t be an issue. There’s stacks of space in the lockers lining the lounge area as well as in the seat bases themselves. And there’s a pretty decent starting payload of nearly 500kg – although this of course can be eaten away when you add the options.

As standard, though, there are several features on the Elddis Avalon 295 that you’d expect to see in any flagship motorhome, starting with the heating and hot water system from Alde.

Elsewhere, the overcab section has a near-full width window, there’s a 100Watt solar panel to help power the single 95Ah leisure battery (with space to add a second in its underfloor storage location).
And if you do want more, the XT Pack option covers off a heated windscreen, electric handbrake, LED headlights and an infotainment system with 10in screen. Or consider the higher specification Evolve version, if you want habitation air conditioning, on-board Wi-Fi, tracker, alarm etc.
